Letters by Linden
Blog
Welcome to my blog! I share new posts about my journey as an author and my passion for storytelling. You'll find behind-the-scenes insights into my books, tips for encouraging children to read and write, and creative ways to spark a love of literature in young readers. I also write about the things I enjoy, whether it's a favorite book, a fun activity, or thoughts on the writing life. If you're a parent, teacher, or fellow book lover, there's something here for you.
The third Piper book
Join Piper on her third adventure as she sets out to make friends with her old, grumpy neighbor, Mrs. Agnes. Despite Piper's best efforts, Mrs. Agnes seems uninterested in becoming friends. But when Piper makes her Grandma's cookie recipe, she sees an opportunity to win over her neighbor. Will the power of a sweet treat be enough to break down the walls between them? In this heartwarming tale, Piper learns that making new friends can be challenging, but with a little patience and creativity, anything is possible.
This writing journey
Even when I was writing my first children’s book, I battled with self-doubt every step of the way. I have to really thank my older brother for our monthly video chats to update each other on the progress of our books. It’s one of the reasons why I dedicated my first book to him. Without us encouraging each other, I don’t think I would have gone all the way to publish.
